Techno Song ID

I recently heard a techno song from quite a few years ago (I'd place it around 1995-1996 or so, since it was on an old compilation I once had), but can't for the life of me figure out the name of the song nor the artist.

It does actually have lyrics, although I can't remember much (here's what I have):

"I found the love, but... it didn't last
Wonderful days belong to the past" (or something like that)

It's a little hard to describe the song -- although the vocals are reasonably high-pitched if that helps.

Any ideas?

or something like that. A girl is singing...and mid sentence she pauses and finishes.

It probably is Wonderful Days.

Thanks! Turns out it "was" Wonderful Days.

Apparently there's also a 2001 edit that I didn't know about. :)
