I think it's a given that women/girls like to dance, you always see them in groups out there shaking there booty. Guys on the other hand I'm not so sure, I think that some think it's not cool to dance, I can remember back when I first turned 21, I had a beer in each hand and was out there just about spinning on my head. Also the style of dancing has also changed in the club scene, the music is a little faster for the most part and the dancing has become more unorthodoxed as compared to repetitional moves 15 years ago.

I love to dance !!!!! ...and chics dance with each other because most times the men stand on the side with their tongues hanging out, drooling, in some fantasy hooter land they've created for themselves in their mind as they sit back and watch with their beer in hand...
Things really have changed though...as much as I hate seeing it...I've witnessed men dancing with men..yup..in groups..which I think is about as normal as me wearing a jock strap...anyhow, whatever floats their boat...men have improved on their dancing though...they aren't so "stiff" :P ..probably because really noone pays too much attention anyhow...anything goes...so they flop around ...The style has changed obviously because the music is much better...some of it ;) ...
Was anyone alive in here during the "disco" year? blahhhhhhh
I laugh now thinking about it... Travolta was my man...oh baby oh baby

Thats no lie...I went out tonight..and I saw more mating rituals than I'd like to have...one chic had her skirt up to her freaking waist...while another one was humping the air while her "man friend" pulled on her belt and god knows what all ... I saw more breasts...more butt...more coochie...and more belly than I care to see....
It didn't take a rocket scientist to know which ones were renting a room/back seat/ .......

Not at all...I'm not jealous of anyone that looks or acts like a pig...though...I wonder sometimes if men like you better if you are like that...seems to be where its at I guess... I think I look pretty ok when I go out, minus the skirt up to my A*, a flabby belly hanging out of a croptop thats 2 sizes too small...and cleavage the size of the grand canyon...ok..maybe that :P ...or eye makeup on that Mimi would be jealous of...and as far as anyone "rubbing" on to my man on or off the dance floor..I think its rude and pathetic that any women would do that to any man when she sees he's with someone else...but thats just my opinion...I wouldn't do it to anyone...but then again, I'm not a pig in heat...

I was out with my GF and 3 friends for new years in downtown Minneapolis. I am as white as white can be (minnesota pasty white), and I cannot dance worth crap. My GF on the other hand, I cannot even believe it. The first time she danced like...other women dance...I thought I had accidentally came back from the bathroom and walked up to the wrong girl. It quite amazed me.

Anyway...back to new years. I was pretty gone...5 long islands, and we were dancing with my GF's friend. The three of us were there and all of the sudden this chick comes up to me and says "I am their friends, leave them alone". I couldn't believe the nerve of this chick. I am not some freaky looking stalker guy, I am just an average looking 6'2" american guy. Anyway, I told her to take a hike and that one was my GF of 4 years and the other a friend of 4 years.

Then, I was away getting a drink (yeah, another), and some guy comes up to my GF and says "I hate when guys molest girls they do not know on the danceflood". Needless to say my GF thought that hilariously funny and laughed in his face until I came back...poor guy.

But anyway, dancing is pretty fun, but for me I have to be a little buzzed to go out. Some of those people really DO get into it, I saw the mini skirts up the waste and guys virtually stripping on the flood to get on women, pretty crazy stuff. Needless to say, I am more normal than that...just by a bit.

I hate to disagree with you, but I loved disco. In the early eighties, I went out three times a week to dance disco. The music was so good back then for dancing...and it took quite a bit of talent to dance disco-style...plus it kept me trim.

:) Johnny....I'm not saying I didn't like disco back then...of course I did...I use to go out as much...but looking back, and comparing to some of the music we have now...it just seems so.....disco :P  ...There are just some songs from way back that stick in my head as being good...and others, I laugh and think, "oh my god, we must have looked so queer dancing to that"....
I just like whats being played now..but who knows...in 10 more years I'll be saying the same thing about music today....

I don't really like to dance, but after I've had enough to drink I'll be out on the floor with the rest of the unrhythmic white men.

Not all white men lack in rhythm.....and I wonder how many men need those drinks to loosen up before they can get their fannys out there to dance...or how many can get down and boogie when they're stone sober straight...

I like dancing to anything with a good beat, if the music has bad rhythm what else is there. Now some get really into it and like singing the song as there dancing and sort of act out the song or singer. I guess everyone has there thing...

It takes about three gin & tonics but then I'm ready to hit the dance floor.
