Free Web Page?

I've used geocities in the past, but they require a fee for ftp-ing web updates.

Is there a better deal out there? I'll only need a small amount of space, but I'm not willing to pay anything.

Try Angelfire (http://www.angelfire.com). According to their help page (http://help.lycos.com/scripts/angelfire.cfg/php.exe/enduser/std_adp.php?&p_lva=&p_refno=010703-000117&p_created=994195993), they offer ftp for free.

After you sign up for an account, set your site ad preferences to "POP UPS" (instead of the default banner ads). At the top of every html page you upload, add

<script>function open(){return true;}</script> to it to prevent the popups from appearing.

20mb space and i think 1gb monthly bandwidth allotted

Does not put banners, but no ftp unless you pay like 3/month
