I made a partition for my OS and it is F: but I want the default install directory to be C: for any programs I install. Is this something that I have to do in TweakUI?

Ah, well. Anyone who is interested:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion]
"ProgramFilesDir"="D:\Program files"

Change the D:\Program files to what ever you want.
