Dead! Logitech Mouseman Traveler 3 for $6.90 after rebate

There is a rebate on this item from the manufacturer. The limit is three per household. This sight Mouse (http://www.2buystore.com/shopdisplaydetail.asp?id=954394) has them for 20.97 each with 3.99 for shipping. After rebate the cost with shipping is 6.90.

I have had problems with the merchant you used. Put in an order for the Mouseman. Got confirmation. Later got email notice from them that supposedly out of stock and therefore could not ship. WRONG--few hours later, I searched for the Mouseman on CNet.com/shopping and found that the same Merchant WAS selling the Mouseman but had increased its price to $42.66. IN other words, they decided to just not honor confirmed orders. I wrote them and protested but doubt that I will hear back from them:angry: :angry:

As stated above I wrote the merchant a very nasty letter. Guess what--they agreed to send me the Mouseman at the price originally in the order. Would like to believe that they would have done it even had I not threatened to send copies of the documentation all over. Now here is hoping I get it in time for the 1/31/03 Rebate deadline.

Also not sure why this offer is listed as "Dead" on this Site. Others may be able to find the Mouseman Traveler elsewhere and submit the Rebate in time?

Mouseman came 1/30/03--in time to submit Rebate.
