I have one of these bad boys and it works great for my apt.
I only a small area in my apt that is tiled (the kitchen and the 1.5 bathrooms) so getting out the real mop, pail, and cleaning solution was rarely worth the effort.

While I never really understood the dry version, this mop is great.
