I think my car is waaaay past what these things could offer...:bawl: :bigmouth: so sad... though "Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner" sounds pretty amusing. A car's equivalent of Pert Plus?

From the car nuts, I've heard this was good stuff for the money and nowhere near the quality or amount of money that the elite brands cost. Think I'm gonna order a couple if the deals still up on Saturday.

Meguiars is good stuff...that's the only wax I'll use. It's not super expensive though.
I wonder if you get the wooden box that is shown...It doesn't specifically say. If not, it's really not all that good a deal. Walmart sells most of the individual products that come with this kit. If the box is included, though, makes it a bit nicer :)
I especially like Meguiar's spray-on detailing mist...Keeps a good wax job looking nice for several washes.
Amazon has this (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000066PEI/ref=pd_sim_na_3/103-6079293-7347809?v=glance&s=home-garden) kit, as well. Similar (but not identical) products, in a different box.

I saw these with the wooden box in local auto supply stores around Christmas time. This is probably stock that's left over from the holidays. And I agree... Meguiars is good stuff. It seems like a decent deal, but I opted for a new computer case instead of car care products for Christmas.

target was clearing those kits out the first two weeks of january, first it was 25% off, then 50%...then finally, 75% off, for a crazy end price of 7bucks or so...too bad my local target had them all sold out :o

Guys, this box set rules! Although my wife immediately confiscated the box for my antique fishing lure collection, the soaps and the wax are first rate stuff. Great find, fellas. I love this board!

My local Fred Meyer (it's like a super-walmart, only higher class...a Oregon-Washington, northern-California thing) had it on sale for 16.99. It was a limitted to supply on hand deal, but they had at least 50 sets in the display.

Nice. I will have to go check out my local target or walmart and see how much they are there. This would be a waste on my car right now, but I am getting a new paint job really soon.

If I was supposed to wax my car, I'd look into this deal. But alas, since I was told to leave my teflon-coated baby alone, I don't need no stinking wax! :P
That box actually reminds me of a cigar box. I could make that into a nice humidor!

Please tell me you didn't fall for the old "paint sealant" routine at the dealership...

Only thing is that he has to change the blinker fluid every 3,000 miles while he is having the muffler bearings greased. :P It's part of the paint sealant contract!
(I just got off the beach last night at 5:50 in the evening and I am at the carwash throwing a couple of bucks in just to make sure that undercarriage is rinsed off.)

Nah, actually, I only made them throw in the paint sealant free because if my paint ever dulls (for whatever reason), I know that I have it covered under the paint-sealant-gimmick clause. Because everyone knows that it's just a $5 bottle of wax, right? Oh, and the fabric protector? That's just a $10 can of Scotchguard.
