i'm looking at the print catalog now... on page 37:
item 303636 twin $29.95
30637 full $39.95
30638 queen $49.95
30639 king $59.95
and they have some GOOOOOOD candy in this catalog
I don't think so Tim. The inset looks like it, but the product definately looks inferior. No offense Wellfareloser.

not defending the product, it may well be crap, but...
afaik, memory foam is memory foam... they are all chemically/physically identical. this pad may be thinner or something, but it is made of the same stuff.

There's different density, thickness, quality of "memory foam" out there. Some sell the egg crate type foam pads and claim them to be "memory" foam, which is totally different. I think these are simply the foam pads. I'm still searching for a 2.5"-3", 4 lb. queen memory foam mattress pad.

hey mp19fan:
Costco has a 2" queen size pad for $128. Seems like a nice quality (I've felt it at the BM) but almost 3 time as much as these other mattress deals. Anything thicker than 2" and I think would be too thick.
Here's a link:

what you guys think of this new foam pad???
looks more riggid with more wave patterns...
dunno how the feel will be, but i'd like to get another memory pad for my girlfriend... would make a EXCELLENT valentines gift... its coming up. (She loves my Visco one btw)
i already got 2 of the visco ones and boy are they great... very comparable to the display at brookstone... just as good...
should i wait for the visco to come back in stock? or should i go for this? hrm
anyone try this one yet?

The Vermont pad, if you look at the product info, is 100% visco elastic, so it's the same stuff as the Smartbargains one, which I have. You see so many visco elastic ads in magazines/websites. The Tempur-pedic one is superior because it's 4 lb density. Most of the discount ones are 2 lb density, but they're still awesome for the price. If you get the Vermont one, you can post and tell us how it is, but the Smartbargains one will be back in stock in a couple weeks I'm sure, but not soon enough for Valentine's, so I guess your girl will have to come over and share yours.:o

I know that everyone is raving about this product, but how can 1" of anything(except plywood) make such a difference?

1" is all you need to form a comfortable shape for your back to lie on, unless you're like 300lbs or something

By more than one, but after a couple, it'll probably be cheaper to just buy the matress! :bigmouth:

I just purchased a queen topper online at memoryfoam.net. They seem like a very good company to do business with. 2" queen, 4 lb. density for $115 shipped. 5 year warranty, 60 day satisfaction guarantee. I called around locally, and the places that do carry the good stuff were asking $190. I'll give an update when it arrives.
