Basically, I am running out of ideas for a gift for Valentine's Day for my girlie. Last year for V-Day, I got her flowers and a teddy bear from Build-a-Bear Worksop. For her birthday, I got her a new watch. And for Xmas, I got her a diamond tennis bracelet. So the jewelry thing is a little played out I think.

You guys have any suggestions on a unique gift for V-Day?

What are ya'll getting for your sweethearts?

Thanks. :)

hmmm.....this yeah, my GF is getting a coffee press. since she's been whining about wanting one for the last 3 years or so, i think it's high time to pull the trigger on that gift, especially when starbucks is selling them for $11.99 :hihi:

last year, i got her a cherry vanity for her room.

i don't remember what i did the year before that......

just try to think of something little and frivilous that she wants. imo, valentine's day isn't necessarily the time to break the bank, it's time to find some sweet gift that isn't really practical -- just something that will make her happy.

How abou a nice big hug?

Just imagine this:
Flowers and a teddy bear: $70
A new watch: $200
A diamond tennis bracelet: $250

A hug from boyfriend: priceless

:heh:

My guy says that it might be typical, but there's always satin/silk pj's ... or lingerie? :naughty:

See Coleslaw...now ya done it...that's where you screwed up...you went from flowers & a teddy...to a diamond tennis bracelet.....
What you needed to do...but of course by now its all hindsight...you should have done flowers...then candy...then a bear...then flowers and a bear...then flowers, candy & a bear :D ...then gradually worked up...like gold earrings...or a chain...but nooooooooo you go and spoil her...

Get her a gift certificate for her favorite place to do whatever...nails...massage...pedicure...like Dave said...a hug & a movie...write her a personal poem and get her a bear, flowers, candy & another tennis bracelet...yah..that'll work..:amidala:

i think she would too :P

it's funny, because she always tells me things she wants and i just kind of ignore her because i don't want to give her any clue about what i'm planning to get her. so i think she thinks that i haven't been hearing her pleas for a coffee press -- i have, i just haven't let on.

My honey is getting fog lights for his Jeep. Yes, we are the World's most romantic couple:heh: .

Seriously coleslaw, is there a day spa nearby? I personally would LOVE to get a day of pampering at a day spa, I bet she would too!
