Is Columbia House deal dead?

Tried to order 5 dvds. Entered code - got 5 for 24.95 deal details. Chose 5 dvd, added to cart, clicked on join, get a screen offering 12 dvd's or 49 cent ones - can't complete deal. anyone have any luck getting this deal today 2/7/03????

I signed up on Thursday and have not yet received a shipping confirmation... I'm crossing my fingers.

I just signed up for this with the cy4d code from the other post and it worked fine for me. No future purchases or payments required...I also used a citibank virtual account number so they can't bill me after the initial 24.95...

edit: duh, this was an old thread...the new one confirms the code I used was good...

i tried to do the refer a friend email and then type in the cy4d code (like worked for the cycd) but it wouldnt work :(

Man, it looks like on top of this outstanding deal, Columbia HOuse has really done wonders with their service. Remember the good old days of joining the club and waiting 6 weeks for them to pack and ship your CD's?
