need free word processor for os9

I'm in desperate need for a word processor for my iBook that runs os9. I don't want to upgrade to osX. Are there any decent word processing programs that are free that I can simply download? Thanx...

i dont think openoffice does os9. i believe that they have finished an osx version

the free ones i know of are abiword and staroffice. os x, but dont think os 9.

Upgrade to a pc with windows and get a free copy of Notepad.exe. Act now and we'll throw in a copy of Wordpad.exe!

To tell you the truth, I'm quite pleased with my iBook. It does what I need it to to do and rather well. I do have a PC with windows xp, but I'm using a laptop and need to be able to do word processing on the go.
