Free isp without banner wanted

I know worldspy & freewweb are dead.
I hate to see one of those netzero/freeinternet banner.
I've tried freedsl dialup but it says I don't have modems installed in my computer even though I DO HAVE IT INSTALLED.

You can use Netzero or Freeinet - just don't use their dialup software after your initial signup. Once you set the account up, get the number and setup your dialup networking and just use that.

Free, no banners, and they have no idea that it is going on........

the only non banner isp i can get to work is 1nol. the only problem i've had with it though is that the software that comes with it encodes the password differently from what it actually is. by this i mean it creates its own DUN connection and when i connect with that it works fine, but the password is longer than my actual password. if i try to type in my real password before i connect, i get and invalid password. it kinda sucks because i was hoping to be able to use it in linux, but i don't know what my actual password is.

Sign up to freedsl and then do the DUN thing for it
but for you username it would be:
Username@FreeDSL (eg. ST321@FreeDSL)
and for your password just type in your password

They are in the business of local ecommerce but just as a side benefit they offer a free isp service. NO BANNERS!!! You don't pay a penny for any of it. Try it out and let me know what you think. Ok- This is just for Utah- Sorry- They will be opening up in Dalls, San Diego, and 3-4 others by January though so you can watch for them.

It should work with all versions - since you are totally bypassing their software, any fixes they attempt to make won't affect your dialup.

if you have mypoints, you could go through them and get a ton of points. its a pretty good deal if you're looking for a free isp and have mypoints.

I have the version 1.1 of Netzero and the CRACK for it which you just place it in the same folder. And after you dialed up, just click the X on the top right like you are about to quit the program, but you will still be connected online without any stupid banners! haha~

But they will email you a few times telling you that you are doing something wrong cuz their banners aren't showing up, maybe it's cuz you have software problems, just ignore it, they ask you to download the newest version, ignore them..haha~ goodluck to all!
