... a kiss and a hug.

So I have decided to cook dinner for my girlie and finally figured out whats on the menu.

Chicken fetuccini alfredo
-the premade stuff in the plastic container -$4
-fetuccini noodles -$1
-bake boneless skinless breasts and slice -$3
then place on top of pasta and sauce
with a grind of pepper

Cesar salad
-the kit in the bag -$3
-Tomato for effect -$1

Sourdough rolls w/butter
-premade, reheat in oven -$2

Dessert
-Chocolate Entemann's(sp?) Cake -$3
-Cherry pie filling -$1
-Whipped Cream (good to have around anyway) -$2

Totally simple and only $20 + $4 trader joe's wine
Throw in some candles and a little music and maybe a movie after and you should get to finish the leftover whipped cream in a creative way.

Comments, tips, etc. welcome...

i'm not sure, but i think that by definition, a cesar salad doesn't have tomatoes.

Go for the "Two Buck Chuck" for the wine. It is really good and only costs a $1.99. The real name is "Charles Shaw". It was a featured news story on CNN because of the cult following that has developed. Also available at Trader Joe's.
