I bought myself a new crockpot, thinking I'd save hubby the chore of being romantic. But, he surprised me with a nice card and some money he'd been saving on the sly, to use on my moms-on-strike vacation next week. :)

i didn't get any tangible gifts. that's not to say i didn't "get" anything :naughty: :hihi:

i got her the coffee press and mug from starbucks, which, i should mention, she ABSOLUTELY LOVED :D she didn't really care whether i got it cheap or not. she was just super-excited that i got it for her.

i also cooked her dinner. then, i had just gotten the serendipity DVD, so we watched that. it was a very nice valentine's day :)
