New way to cancel Columbia House membership - old way no longer available

peps have given log in, go to club help, then member info then to cancel link but the site has changed. There is no cancel link. Now you must click on club help after signing in, click on contact CH, click on cancel membership and continue from there.

i signed up for that just to get free cds ... but online i couldn't find anywhere to cancle the automatic shipping of the monthly cd

I refuse to sign up for Columbia house because of their cancel policies/strategies. The last time I used their services (about two year ago) I would call to cancel and they would continue to flood me with mail. I had to send them certified mail stating I wanted to discontinue service before they would stop. They also failed to count CD's purchased at regular price against the number of CD's we were obligated to buy, we had to provide them receipts to prove we bought them.

If they send you CD's you don't want, DON'T OPEN THEM!! Just write 'return to sender' on the package and stick it in back in your mailbox. They have to pay return shipping on it. We canceled and they kept shipping them to us, so we kept sending them back! Their loss.

Once you're logged in @ their website, look for "DIrector's Selection" link at the Top Left corner, just below the "Columbia House" logo, from there, you can Refuse o Accept your current selection(s).

I DO find a Contact Us link, but there's no cancel option there.

If you do it enough times, they'll send you a letter stating that they will no longer send you the Director's Selection automatically becuase of the amount of times you've returned thier items. :bigmouth:

Well, since no one really shows how to cancel, this is how i just did it. Log on, go to "Club Help" on the upper right of screen. Then click on "Membership Info" on left side. Then you will see #9 "How do I cancel my membership?" Click there, it will give link. If there's an easier way, I didn't find it.

I can't wait for next coupon code like this.
