Our church secretary has cancer...

I mentioned in chat (& maybe on here? I can't remember) that our church secretary found out a week and a half ago that she has colon cancer. They found a few spots on her lungs as well and were going to do a needle biopsy to find out if those were cancerous or not.

She had surgery today for the colon and not only did they not get it all, they found that it had metasticized to her esophagus & lungs.

That is bad enough, but she is only about 33 or so, has 6 kids, ranging in age from a 13 year old girl to a set of 2 year old twins. :(

Cancer sucks. I'm sorry to hear it. If it's truly terminal hope that she goes quickly with as little suffering as possible.

i am sorry to say that i don't think she has long. once it travels to different sites in the body it takes nothing short of a miracle to be cured. :(

that sux even more cause she has all those kids and is so young. cancer is the devil. it took my dad in 9 short months. :bawl:

Found out today that it is Stage 4 cancer in her colon, esophagus, lungs and possibly her lymph nodes (they don't know that yet). :(
