should have told them yes. and when the computer turns off and complains, suggest that they could have bumped the power switch. tell them to fix the problem, emerse the end they pulled out in a bowl of water.

My answer is "It's the one with the end that looks like a big phone cord plug." the cable can be any color.

Worst case is they pull the phone cord from the wall jack, and then you don't have to deal with them.

Of course, you notice that the black cable is so much bigger than the other (usually beige or white) cables.
