well it depends on what kind of "cold hot chocolate" you are refering to! ..if it was that gacky dry powdered mix stuff then it's THAT NASTY SH|T..if it's Chocolate milk that's been heated up-like..Nestle's Chocolate milk-then I would say it's back to being just chocolate milk. Now you know, the best chocolate milk is made with hershey bars, whole milk,a touch of vanilla and about 2lbs of sugar-if that gets cold then it's a disaster because it's expensive ingredients not being appreciated-and that my friends is the WORST of all.

Why is it that the US can't make decent chocolate? Hershey's is on the low end of acceptable, Ghiradelli's is pretty decent, but they just can't compare to Drostes, Lindt or Cote d'Or... am I just a chocolate snob?

I've had Ghiredelli,Godiva,Lindt,Guittard, and Gertrude Hawks (big in Pennsylvania and New York)..The name does not give chocolate it's flavor-it's the beans, sugar, milk etc..while the designer/expensive names are great-I've found in all my years of baking/eating-nothing beats plain old Hershey's..
