i went to RS a week ago and they didnt have any fast and furious kits but they looked up the inventories for nearby stores. there were 2 stores that had them in a 15 mile radius. i was too lazy to go get them that day though.

hey do yall's go faster in reverse? mine goes faster and seems to have more torque in reverse. if i'm going forward and slam it into reverse i can spin the tires.:heh:

maybe i should modifiy it to run backwards all the time.

Well....I forgot to tell you that this is in a small apartment in China. :) Not much space in the apartment to chase the cat around....so it works just fine...:D

(BTW... my batteries can be brand new and I STILL get about the same range) i just tried it to make sure. i measured 18 feet with a tape measure, the batteries arent new or all that weak and the antenna of the car is tucked inside the body. i could probably pull another foot or so if i pulled out the car antenna all the way.

I figured that "Zip Zaps", the trademark brand of mini RC car at "The Shack", had a uniform price at all locations (of course adjusted for currency translation) i believe zip zaps are the same as bit char-g cars which arent widely available here. they have a bigger selection of bodies and 4 frequencies instead of just 2

I've got a bit char-g. My friend sent it to me from Taiwan. It looks pretty much the same as ZipZaps. Motors and gearing are color-coded too. With the antenna fully extended, the range is about 15 feet.
