Thank you. Great price! And I’ve had only good experiences ordering from Overstock.com (mostly bedding) and their $2.95 shipping per order is though to beat. At $150, I might replace the Ti4200 in my main box and replace the Geforce2 Pro in the kids’ machine with the Ti4200.
I signed up to be notified via e-mail when this product is back in stock. But, I’m not holding my breath. VisionTek is going out of business. You can see the card has a 90 day distributor warranty, which is okay. My experience is that electronics fail very quickly (under warranty), or they last until they are obsolete.
If you’re lucky enough to get in on this deal, here’s a link to 10% off your entire order at Overstock.com (scroll down about half way) good through 03/31/03. It will direct you to a pop-up window at Overstock.com’s site. Final price would be less than $140 delivered!

BTW, visiontek is not going out of business. They are starting to sell ATI based cards. I got in about 3 months ago on this card for $199 from compgeeks. I had to send in my card to be repaired (was that epoxy holding on that heatsink? Oh no sir, I dont know how that core was crushed, hehe). It took about 3 weeks, but I received a new card from them. I hope they do well with the ATI.

Thanks for the info. The numerous articles I saw were from the fall when VisionTek actually shut down operations for a while. I see instead of being liquidated, VisionTek has been acquired by another company and is undergoing reorganization. I hope the new company can keep up VisionTek’s reputation for quality products.
With their shift to ATI, I guess the chances of getting a Nvidia based VisionTek card decrease daily. I hope this deal comes through.
