In Stafford County (http://fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2003/022003/02202003/886142), a snowplow operator was pulled from his VDOT truck around 11:30 p.m. and beaten up by two motorists. The VDOT employee was plowing Brooke Road near Eskimo Hill Road when he noticed the headlights of a car behind him flashing, according to Stafford Sheriff Charles Jett.
The man got out of his truck, thinking someone behind him needed help. But the two men in the car behind him accused the plow driver of running them off the road, Jett said.
When the VDOT employee got back in his truck and tried to leave, one of the other men smashed the truck's driver's side window, opened the door and pulled him out. Both men beat the plow driver before leaving the scene in a small black car, possibly a Honda, Jett said.

In Spotsylvania, deputies were looking for a group of motorists who hit another VDOT employee on the head with a chunk of ice Tuesday evening.
The employee, a supervisor, was leading a snow-removal team through neighborhoods on Harrison Road when a car pulled up and the occupants threw a large piece of ice at her through her open window, Kilpatrick said.
She drove to a convenience store at State Route 3 and Gordon Road, where the same motorists threw another piece of ice at her, Kilpatrick said. This time, her window was closed.And looking around shows this not to be isolated incidents.
