Hurray! We got our 12 people. If you still want to join, I can increase the size of the league. Just PM me or post here.

Otherwise, I'll set the league to be ready to draft on Wednedsay, barring of course any new additions. Please set your rosters before then.

Also, if you want a LIVE DRAFT, please post your preferred times. A live draft is simply that you pick your players rather than having them automatically picked. However, if you aren't there during the prescribed time, the computer will just use the rankings you've set, so it'll just be a auto pick draft for you. Having a live draft allows some people to pick their own players (like picking all the Marlins players, for example) :D

They will be there for your reference, and they will be used if you leave the draft, but otherwise they won't be used by the computer to pick as long as you're there.

Here's what happened with the football draft:

Your pre-ranking list is on the page with the live draft. You have something like 1 min or 3 minutes or something to choose your pick when it is your turn. If you haven't chosen one in your turn, the computer will take your top pick that has not been picked by someone else yet, then move on to the next in line. When it is your turn again, you have another min or whatever to choose your next pic. So on and so forth.

In any case, as long as Biggio retains that 2B designation, you can use him as a second baseman, regardless of what he plays in real life. Heck, if they stuck the "P" designation, you could use him as a pitcher. It doesn't matter what he plays in real life.

It's not that bad actually. I would take a close look at the last 4-5 pitchers you have and see if they're actually good or not. Otherwise it's decent.

You might consider trading Ramon Ortiz to Juju. Apparently she wants the entire Angels roster, so you might get someone good from her :D

Heh....I didn't pick them live draft. :) I let the computer do it for me cause I was out at the time. But yeah....there sure are a lot of 'Stros there huh? :D I love me some 'Stros! Besides, the players I got from the 'Stros are really good! Golden glove catcher in Ausmus, Baggy is awesome, Biggio is slightly declining, but still pretty good, solid third baseman and Oswalt and Miller ROCK! :)

All in all, I'm pretty happy with my infield, my outfield could use more power, I have two pitchers who should get over 200 Ks, and I don't have a "real" closer. The league being as big as it is, everyone will end up sacrificing in one or two areas.

as for my league, i was thinking bout starting it next weekend or so... thats about 2 weeks before the season starts.. gives a better idea of how spring training is going.. any early injuries, who's phenomanal, etc..

Those who have joined my league, we now have an even # of people. 14 total! Just thought I'd give 2 days notice before I turn the auto-draft to ready. So if you haven't copied over your existing pre-rankings, or made changes to them, do so asap. :)

Once I set it to ready, the auto-draft will occur anytime from that point til like 2 days from then. I anticipate to set it to ready position at around 11:59PM PST on Wednesday March 13th. So after that, the draft will occur between then and Friday or Saturday evening.

If anyone still wishes to join (ahem, Juju ;) ), please let me know. If so, we will need to find another person to keep the # of teams even.

Derek Lowe was one of the top 3 or 4 in the American League in ERA. Was fighting for the Cy Young award against teammate Pedro Martinez and Barry Zito.

Kazuhiro Sasaki, fairly decennt relief pitcher. Alfonso Soriano, a good producer at 2B. Nomar Garciaparra, needs no introduction. He's a great SS. Randy Winn is pretty good as well.

My team for a rotisserie league. I think I did pretty good. :) Pitching is a little lacking, but I think is still pretty good. Total of 12 teams in this league. We conducted a live draft! Man, I wish i had conducted a live draft for my other leagues.
