i hate you aim.....please help me

whenever im playing a game and someone on my buddy list thats on alert comes on it kicks me out of the game and brings me to the desk top...short of not having one on alert or turning aim off is there anyway to fix this?


edit: i put on away message when i go play a game and the alert still kicks me out i have the windows hidden and everything...damn it

go one away then make sure the little hide windows thing is clicked and ur set...

Here is a thought, Why don't you just close it? There is no benifit to keeping it on, especially if you hate it. Not only will you stop getting alerts, you will free up some memory for your game. If the person IMing you needs to leave a message, there is always email.

i have all my alerts turned off.. and when away, i have the hide IM windows checkbox checked. don't receive the same problems as you anymore :)

Why don't you just have a big UT party and have all of your friends play Unreal with you and chat in the game? :)
