At BestBuy this week. My guess is that in order to get the $10 gift card, you have to go to a B&M store. The hard drive is a 7,200 rpm, ATA133, with 2MB cache. The rebate is sent to Maxtor so this is obviously a Maxtor drive, plus I believe Maxtor is the only company that makes an ATA133 drive. Members at other forums report that when they opened the box from the CompUSA offer last week on this drive, it was a Maxtor with an 8MB cache (even though the box said 2 MB). If anybody buys this, please let us know about the cache size.

Hard drive: $149.99 – 40 MIR – 10 MIR = $99.99
120 GB HD @ BB (http://www.bestbuy.com/Detail.asp?m=488&cat=511&scat=&e=11207643)

Kingston memory: Reg: $99.99, Sale: $59.99 – 30 MIR = $29.99
256MB PC2100 @ BB (http://www.bestbuy.com/Detail.asp?m=1581&cat=1588&scat=&e=11173464)

The gift card is an instant rebate.
