My wife-to-be's Win2k machine isn't taking cookies anymore. I'll login to got|apex? and after I close and restart IE, not logged in any more. And other sites won't work because it thinks cookies are turned off... they're not.

I even changed the settings to accept all cookies.

Her user is an administrator.

Any ideas? Any weird viruses that could cause this?

do you have any programs running that could try to block cookies such as zone alarm or a privacy program

ZoneAlarm, however it's always had ZA. But not always behaved this way. It's really weird.

well zone alarm can get wierd at any time. ive had stuff just stop working all of a sudden just to find out it was za. check the privacy setting to see what its set at. i have mine set to the medium setting and most everything works fine.

Are you having the same problems with Netscape? Are you all patched up? Maybe you should uninstall and reinstall IE if that is the only browser with the problems.
