PDA Email Application

Hello all,

My friend has a Handspring Treo 270 PDA and she said that she cannot open attachment from the received email. She's using Treo Mail right now. Is there something wrong with her setting or does she need another application to open the attachment? Or is there any email application which you would recommend over Treo Mail?

what type of file is she trying to open?

just regular office application, .doc, .xls. She has Word on PDA but file attachment isn't highlighted at all. Don't know what that means but that's what she told me.

i dont think there is ms word (as in made by microsoft) for a palm os handheld. treo mail may not recognize word attachments which it wont link to it. she might need a third party program like inbox to go which works with documents to go to open the files. there may also be other 3rd party apps but ive used docs to go for years now and ive been happy with it

never heard of shift inbox. i meant Inbox to go. its an accessory to documents to go and i think it will only work with it.
