You can get a free fax account (incoming faxes only) at www.efax.com OR www.callwave.com . They will each give you a non-local number which people can fax you at and you will receive the faxes as an attachment in your e-mail and you can print up.

If you would like to send faxes I believe you could (at least from efax) but that would be at a charge.

sounded pretty cool so I signed up. Should be convenient for people that travel a lot.

blah.. i had an account from efax back then... then they gave me an number out in La la la somewhere. just not good for people who want to send the fax.. like friends who dont feel like making long distance call just to fax something
