DVD +R/+RW Drive Under $100!

B&M deal at Comp USA in So Cal ad this week- they don't list the name, but the item number (#299919) goes with the Ikebana internal drive. I have one of these and it works great (have only burned CD's so far- does those at 10x, DVD at 2.4X). My computer recognizes it as a Ridata drive. $279.99 less $50 instant plus $50 manuf rebate, $80 Comp USA rebate=$99.99.
Couple excellent hdd deals too- Maxtor 80gb w/ 8mb cache $129.99- $60 rebate = $69.99 (this one you can get online). Also Western Digital SE 120gb/ 8mb cache $129.99 after $50 rebate and their 180gb is $199 after rebate. These two are Brick & Mortar only.

Comes out at $279 for me with no rebates. Guess it's dead.

You have to go to the store to get the deals except for the one on the Maxtor 80gb harddrive. I can't swear that it is in all stores, but it is on the front page of my flyer in the Sunday newapaper in San Diego.

Cool,,, but I checked the advertised specials and got the $279 price,, I'll look for the newspaper add.

UPDATE: Ahha.. you need to spend $180 AFTER Rebate to get the dvd burner AND EZCD DVD Creator, cuz' you have to pay $80 AFTER Rebate for EZCD DVD Creator. Register price is $359. Think I'll pass, thanks anyway.
