went to a casino with a buddy and saw another friend's girlfriend with her male coworker walking together. He had his arms around her. Should we tell the other friend? Why ruin their relationship? It's her responsibility to tell him. Or be a friend and tell him his GF is doing something behind his back. Someone's gonna get hurt.

Tell the boyfriend, BUT only if you think there is something MAJOR going on.

I keep it under my hat unless you saw something blatantly wrong like a kiss and some tongue. I would however try to casually mention to your friend how his gf is doing and what did they/he do that day or if anything interesting happend. See if he knows she went to a casino by herself, with a co-worker or had no clue she even near a casino and was supposed to be with family or something.
I'd bring it up. Why ruin the relationship? Because *if* she's cheating it's not a good one. I would say something like "so I saw <girls name> at the Casino the other day" but in a total neutral way, not trying to imply anything. Maybe not even mention she was with a guy. If she had lied to him about being somewhere else he'll question her about it and they can deal with it on their own.

depends on how good of a buddy he is.
if it was a good friend of mine, i'd tell him what i saw. I'd keep my own opinions to myself. I'll let him take care of the rest. I think that being huggy and stuff may or may not be right depending on the circumstances.

Good idea. I'll hint my friend and have him deal with it. Hope he doesn't kill the messenger. If it was me, I'd want to know. But some ppl have weak stomachs for bad news.:bonk:

that is a tough moral dilema. i would want someone to tell me. if i found out a friend knew and didn't tell me i would be way disappointed in them.

yeah. i think too many people these days are afraid of getting involved in other peoples' business. but hey, friends are friends and respect each other and watch out for each other. i think it shows that you care for his well being. i may be on the conservative side, but i don't think that's right for your friend's gf to allow a guy to have that kind of physical closeness.

If it was a close friend of mine, I'd probably say something, but... the question is was there really anything going on? I mean... maybe he had his arm around her a certain way or something that set you off, but heck, I put my arm around friends sometimes (some with BFs). I'm pretty sure they know that I don't mean anything inappropriate by that.
You know what your problem is? the moral part of the thread title. If you would just get rid of that one little inconquestional thing, your life would be much easier :D
