Found it at Office Depot, SVA brand color TFT LCD monitor for $227, plus a $30 MIR. 1024x768, 400:1, built in speakers, color temp settings. 3 years parts and labor. Instructions for fine tuning are poor, so I will have to post from time to time to learn how to adjust V-pos, H-pos, clock, phase, gamma, etc. Please let me know if this is a good deal, or if I should return it and save for something else. Thanks.

ahh...I failed to take full advantage of coupons! So is this a decent monitor, or should I return it and save up for something bigger/better? I'm downsizing from a 21" Dell (5 years old) that's about 26" deep. It was taking up WAAAY too much desk space.

15" LCD is pretty small (smaller than a 17" CRT with 16" VIS). I'm still holding out on LCD because I don't want anything anything below 18" but those are expensive!

I happened on this monitor at Office Depot, and had a discount code that the store could not use. I went to the car, ordered via the 800#, used the code and went right inside and picked it up. I also had a $20 off $100 purchase from STAPLES that OD gladly accepted. So far, I like the monitor, BUT, it has only ONE SPEAKER! Go figger! I have seen it for much more $$$ online, and have seen some say it has 2 speakers, but note on the box it says "Built in SPEAKER", and have seen other sites that mention that it has only one. It APPEARS to have speakers on both sides, but does not.
