PC1600 DDR Compatiblity

Is PC2100 backward compatible to PC1600, which I currently have on my motherboard? If so, can you mix them?

Should work just fine, as long as your mobo runs the PC2100 as though it were PC1600. Most likely it will.

Yeah, think of PC2100 as able to run at speeds upto and including PC2100 (which would include PC1600).
