My local Best Buy is advertising the:

Western Digital 100GB + 20GB Free hard drive deal (similar to the Maxtor deal). I assume that this is a 7200RPM 2MB buffer, but it's not clearly defined in the advertisement.

$149.99 - $40 MIR - $20 MIR = $89.99

What area (zip code)?

I can only find the Maxtor one. Searching the rebates, WD does not have a rebate active for the 120GB drives.

That is a Maxtor drive, the same one that Staples has for $10 cheaper.
