I did a search and found nothing about this. Very surprised.
I am a big "Friends" fan and had been keeping close eye on the price for the season 1 and 2 DVDs ever since they came out. Bit I have NEVER found any price under $40 shipped.

I was at walmart yesterday and suddenly came across these two DVD sets and they are actually selling for $29.94 each, without any kind of promotion! Not sure if it is a nation wide deal. And if you check walmart.com, the price is set at ~$52 each.

Also, I did a pricegrabber search and, other than bestprice.com (which is still showing preorder??), everywhere else is selling these for $40+. Anyway, if you are thinking about getting a copy, you might want to go there quick. I just grabbed the last season 2 copy in my one and only local walmart.

from www.dvdpricesearch.com, looks like you can get those at $30 a piece, final price

(bestprices.com or entertainme.com)

comes down to if you wanna get it now or wait a few days, but you gotta pay taxes at walmart

Thanks for the price search website. Look like you are right, $30 a piece seems to be possible. I can add the DVDs in entertainme.com. But, still, strange enough both these websites show as preorder. Anyway, these DVDs are going like ~$35+ on eBay and ~$50 on most well established sites (i.e. buy.com, amazon). So if you want it quick, walmart is not a bad place to go. I paid ~$64 for both after tax. Considering we have a 6% tax here, it is not a bad deal.
