I have read some negative reviews about that model though. Other Agfa digital cameras are actually quite good. Read reviews at www.pcphotoreview.com. (http://www.pcphotoreview.com.)

The Agfa e-photo Smile Camera sucks. I got one using the same deal because I just wanted a cheap digital camera to mess around with. I'm waiting for a RMA number from OverStock so I can get a refund on this piece of junk.

This camera is definitely an ebay item.....
i got it, and it sucked so bad, that i had to sell it on ebay....
it sells on ebay for around 70 bucks, so it's a good 30 buck profit http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif
i'll make a new thread about mp3 - cd players
its less of a camera than it is a kid's toy...

I have the Largan Digital Lmini camera that was selling on buy.com and beyond.com a while ago for $70. It is IMO a good deal for the price. 640x480 resolution, and if you get the right lighting, the pics come out very nice. It uses a Sony CCD image capture. It's nice to play around with.

I bought this camera for $24 from some online place several months ago. It has mediocre resolution, the flash works when it feels like it, it takes forever to load on to the computer, and by the time you take 16 pictures and download it, it has already used up two alkaline batteries. I am so glad I didn't pay more than I did.

If I were you I'd just send the thing back with the original invoice number. I waited for an RMA number from those guys for a week and a half when I was trying to send back an MP3 player and I finally called them and they said that they don't do that anymore or something to that effect.
On top of that, they charged me 15% restocking because I took so long to return it. I finally got that cleared up, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an RMA from overstock. Just a heads up.

If you've got kids, then it would be ideal for them...they can photograph whatever they want, and you don't have to worry about film costs. It's not like they're going to care whether the resulting pictures are a bit crappy after all. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif Otherwise, it might make a good pressie to someone that has kids, for the same reasons. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Oh, wait - giving something away as a present would mean no profit, and that's blashphemy round these parts, innit? http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif
