I am putting some more HDD's in my brothers comp (gonna do IDE RAID1 with some new 120GB's) and his mid tower doesnt have the room. The system is an older (1.3GHz) Athlon so it puts out some heat(plus 4HDDs and all the other crap) I was looking for a full tower case with a blowhole and some side fans holes pre cut. I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations or cases to stay away from.

BTW: Cheaper is better and a regular beige is fine.

Oh yeah - and any advise on a good IDE RAID cards (just need a software one...money...)

Those cheiftec cases are pretty good. You can get an Aluminium one (the black one, no PS) for 60 dollars over at www.newegg.com. Or if you want to save a few dollars, 50 dollars for the regular case.

Theres an Enermax casw with a 350 watt ps at frys for $60. I dont know if its big enough for what you need but it runs cooler than my Antec 1030SX-b and the ps is pretty nice. Case temps are between 26- 30 c and my p4 runs at 10 -15 degrees higher.
See it here:

Mines is the black one on the top.

I have had an antec sx-1240 for just over a year, love the thing. Has tons of space. Might be selling it soon if you're interested ;).

Just fyi, cheiftec/antec/chenmming cases are all the same thing. And usually, the cheiftec ones are the cheapest.

Second to those Chieftec/Antec case. I don't remember the brand of my case but it's similar to Antec SX-1030.
