Im going to be redoing my pc (Win XP), what do you feel is the best DVD player

Ive heard WinDVD and PowerDVD are good

Whichever one comes bundled free with your dvd-rom. ;) If neither then get PowerDVD.

PowerDVD in my desktop (bundled with Lite-On DVD-ROM)
WinDVD in my laptop (bundled with Cendyne DVD-RW)

Canta, if he's upgrading to XP then his bundled software might not work.

Another vote for Power DVD.

I use WinDVD platinum though I have both PowerDVD and WinDVD.

Yep, I gotta go with PowerDVD, although as DF pointed out, I don't watch movies on my PC when I have my 61" sony sitting 15' away from my PC! :)
