Yes. Cheap high schools like it. Don't expect seamless file conversions from MS Office, but it isn't bad if you can't pay for (or steal :naughty: ) MS Office

I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PROGRAM IT CRASHES ALL THE TIME. i even reinstalled the program i will stick to M$ office

it works fine on linux, and conversion from msoffice to openoffice is fine...

the other way though....not so sure.

Tell ya the truth, if I couldn't afford MS office, I'd go with Word Perfect suite. If I couldn't afford that, I'd go with MS Works (which I think costs almost the same as WPS).

I've been using it for about a year and I've had no problems with it. Other than doing advanced things that I've never done (inserting a hyperlink into a document to go to a bookmark in the document). I converted my Resume and have updated in it.

My g/f uses the spreadsheet for her checkbook.

I'm on winxp pro. My brother uses it on one of his linux boxes. It seems to load faster, and work more effeciently than MS Office, so I say go with it.
