I realize the "this game is better than that" horse is dead, but months later, what are ppl playing

I played UT2003 a little, and went back to UT, which I still play.

I FREAKING HATE UT 2003. I realize it's pretty to look at, but game play sucks!!

What'd they do to the Rocket launcher? All the cool guns suck now!

Sniper Gun??? What the hell is the Lightning gun?? Weak and highly visible.

don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of snipers, but they are a necessary part of the game...

I still enjoy it when I just want mindless killing without having to think. I usually play for 20 minutes after school.

I go for hours at a time. but I can't with UT2k3. I get frustrated. I feel like they are GoBots all big and doonky and slow with crap guns.

That's how I felt with UT2003 too. I enjoy the feeling of supernatural speed of some of the modded UT servers I play on.

I played UT way too much, so I never tried UT2003 cause I don't want that addiction to start again, and it just looks to different, more like Quake.

Got into the whole clan thing, tournaments... all that, needless to say it did not help my grades :(

I like UT2003 and don't play much UT anymore. But I do miss that sniper rifle...

Quake II almost killed my college career so I stopped playing those types of games. Now that I gots a jizzob, I might have to start. From the sounds of it, I should probably pick up UT instead of UT2k3.

Wrong. If your computer can handle UT2k3 then you should definitly be playing it. The people that dont like UT2k3 and prefer UT are people that wouldnt have been pleased with anything except a port of UT with improved graphics. And even if you gave them exactly what they wanted they would scream that the game is unoriginal.

That's not true.

I can see the fun in UT2003, but I simply like the *feel* of UT better. It seems faster and more fluid (to me).

Both are good games but never had the chance experience both online.
56k limits ones ability to experience the human factor of the games.
