Now, CG does NOT have the best customer service, we all know this, but they've always been able to put a whole buncha stuff in their barebones kits for cheap
LINKY (http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=A-P4MAPRO-K1)
Comes with a 350W PS, Case with window, 40gb hdd, 128mb ddr ram, CD-RW, DVD, etc.
All it needs is a CPU and an OS... $50 for a 1700+ at Newegg (they were out of stock last week) and if you've already purchased an OS or want to use Linux, you're set.
After reading some posts in the past few months about sub $500 computers, I figure if you have a friend or family member that's broke and isn't a big enough "computer enthusiast" to care about mediocre speakers or little memory, this might serve some purpose :)
