Looks things may swing back in Nvidia direction. The NV35 is said to have a 256 Bit Memory Bus and use DDR-I memory.
And Anand confirmed the benchmark result (http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=27&threadid=1005214) that floated around over a week ago.

As we know Nvidia has had major problems switching over to the .13 micron process. Well looks like ATI may have ran into also. ATI RADEON 9600-Series to Be Delayed 0.13 micron (http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/video/display/20030327061247.html)

Have to wonder what this means for the DDR-II R350 that was coming to compete with the NV35. http://sbp777.homestead.com/files/hmm.gif

Also heard the original R400 has been canceled and the new R400 product will be a next year release.

It should be no surprise since both ATI and Nvidia have indictated design lifecycles will be longer than they have been in the past (http://www.beyond3d.com/#news5086).

Another reason to admire my budget-priced, very overclockable, great performer Ti4200

(/me smiles (through the PC window) at the little, red Ti4200 sitting in the AGP slot.) :)

Tell me about it.. I'm still squeezing life out of my GeForce 3 128mb but am still quite happy with it...

Just don't like knowing there is something out there that's better than what I have.

Yep, I got a ti4600 and i want the aiw9700 now. Remote control
.......

If I had that I'd probably want the next card. The ti200 in my 2nd rig is adaquate for most of the stuff i do.

Next thing will be a nice LCD i think.

I don't forsee myself upgrading for a long time. Luckily my mobo has some good head room left. A year and a half from now I can pop in a Barton 3000+ and $400 3d card and still be good.

This is good news. I've always been a big Nvidia fan. Lately I've been directing my friends to ATI when they ask for recommendations, but hopefully when I go to buy my next card Nvidia will be on top.

Hopefully Nvidia won't overhype the NV35 like what happened with the NV30. Nvidia in my view needs to be quiet until the NV35 is about to come out and let the product speak for itself. Also, Nvidia should improve its anisotropic and fsaa performance/quality. What's the use having fastest thing out when image quality is below par.
