You Don't Get the Factory Warranty

Make sure that before you buy this unit anywhere, call them to find out if Kenwood covers the warranty if you buy it form the store.

The companies usually don't give you the factory warranty if yu buy through an unatuhorized dealer, so FIND OUT FIRST.

I believe denying a warrantee because it was bought at an unauthorized dealer is against the law. In any event, you have more rights with the implied warrantee so you might even be better off. Mfr warrantees always say they only cover defects in materials and workmanship so you are not covered for design defects but the implied warrantee does cover ALL defects!
