laptop soundcard

i have an old inspiron 4200 or something. i bought 5.1 speakers. is the extigy the only soundcard i can use to have 5.1 sound from my laptop? and would anyone recommend the extigy? thanks.

Yeah I think the extigy would be your best bet. . . not too many other options out there that I know of.
