Goto tigerdirect.com and search for cables. Item number
C250-2142P. They are described as two 24" IDE and one 18" Floppy
rounded clear (silver braided) cables. It is $20 but with MIR it is free. This offer expires 4/14/03. Jump on it. These cables are awesome because they take up less space and keeps your case running cooler. You can't beat free.

As usual, tigerdirect’s “free” products have a pretty hefty shipping cost, $9.30 to my area. They had the same deal with a free generic inkjet cartridge recently.
But for three round cables, this is still a still a pretty decent deal. Thanks! :)

If (and only if) it doesn't add much more to the rounded cables' shipping cost, adding this 64 MB pen drive for $9.99 after rebate is a pretty good deal. Rebate expires 04/10/03.

Just ordered the pen drive, cables, and a couple of other things from tiger. Shipping was $11.59 for $99.95 worth of stuff. Those darn "save on shipping" deals get me every time :)

Buying both looks like a good deal. Shipping is still under 10 bux.
Weird thing is -> both rebates require original receipt, not a copy.

I don’t mind paying a fair price for shipping and handling. TigerDirect seems to have fairly reasonable S&H on large orders, but their S&H on single items is quite high. On the other hand, places like Newegg tend to have great delivered prices on small orders. But since their shipping is on a per item basis, one could easily rack up $25 to $30 in S&H alone on a half a dozen small items. I’ve seen Newegg charge anywhere from Free to $20 just to ship a computer case.
Of course, everyone’s favorite S&H charge is free! Way to go Amazon, BB, CC and the office supply stores! Too bad system builder stores (for power connectors, fans, floppy drives, cables, etc.) seldom offer free shipping.

I don't know how tigerdirect receipts are. i know some places i buy from i've gotten plain laser printed receipts, just make a copy :)
as far as carbon copied receipt (OD, OM), you usually get at least 2 copies
oh well, i think i'm just going to get the cables so i shouldn't have a problem!
