your best bet would be a GeForce 2 MX 400
at newegg.com they are running from 35 - 40 for a nice one
id go one of those
Palit Microsystems DAYTONA Geforce MX 400 AGP SDRAM video card 64 Bit
Aopen GeForce2 MX 400 64MB No TV-Out - Retail Box
those are good for the price and should run CS fine
happy hunting :bandit:
Radeon 7000 is the same as the Radeon VE but no dual monitor.
While other Radeons had 2 pipelines, the Radeon 7000/VE had 1 pipeline. Also the Radeon VE doesn't have the T&L engine.

I currently running the geforce2 gts-v that I got for $50 shipped a year or two ago...plays cs and all that pretty decently :)

sbp you just beat me to it. I was just about to post when I refreshed and saw your post. So what you're saying is that the Radeon 7000 sucks in 3D gaming.
Since lilbigblue asked for nvidia I would go with a geforce2 gts or ultra. Stay away from the MX cards because they suck at 3D games as well. Check ebay, I just saw a GF2 gts card going for $29.
