only because of the monitor on the dell being a 15 inch I believe...
was the dell a p4 ? cuz an athlon xp1800 really smokes a celeron 1.8 ..
The HPs do have much better low end video cards than dells though, all the hps had ati mobility radeon cards, not a 9000 but still better than dells bargain Video

Pretty good deal.
I got my Dell Inspiron 2650 last month (P4 1.8Ghz, 256MB RAM, 40GB hard drive, and DVD-ROM) for $870 shipped and taxed.

well I just go that dell laptop with 15" 2.4 ghz p4 128 ram, 30 gigs for $760 after rebate and with the 15% dell coupone
