I disabled Java scripting . I have PopupStopper and before I disabled Java scripting, it was prompting me several times per hour and more. Plus surfing the web has sped up, too.
Maybe I will keep Verizon DSL when the trial period ends next month now that the speed is improved.

Seen any issues with web sites now that you disabled Java?

I just downloaded Free Surfer mk II which someone else suggested here. works great so far

Yes, on GotApex on the deals page, I clicked the individual stores for deals and nothing happens. I can live with that.

You also won't be able to use most online banking stuff, or order from most online stores like Amazon. You might find over time not having java turns into a bigger pain than having it.
