Seller’s blurb: The award-winning PC firewall that protects against Internet-borne threats like worms, Trojan horses, and spyware. New ZoneAlarm Pro doubles your protection with Ad Blocking and Cookie Control to speed up your Internet experience and stop Web site spying.

There’s no link to the rebate on the web site so I assume it’s in the box. Calling to order might be a good idea. $10 – 10 MIR = FREE

Zone Alarm @ Outpost.com (http://www.outpost.com/entry?site=op:mfe2&sku=3352032)

Shipping starts @ $2.95. No sales tax in most states.

3.7 appears to be the latest...of course, amazon is still asking $49.95 for 3.0:rolleyes:

That may very well be the case. Older versions get cheap or free real fast. The newest version (I can’t find a version number) of Zone Alarm Pro is $49.95 at Zone Labs web site. (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/application?namespace=zls_catalog&origin=global.jsp&event=link.bundleDetails&&zl_catalog_view_id=201) If you click on their home page, you can download a basic freeware version, which is still supposed to be pretty good.

You can also download the freeware ZoneAlarm Version 3.7.143 at c|net. (http://download.com.com/3000-2092-10039884.html)

I’m running the free-after-rebate Norton Internet Security 2002 and it works great despite being last year’s model. I guess my free-after-rebate Norton Internet Security 2003 will have to wait until 2002’s license expires.

While I still suggest calling in to order, there's a note on the outpost link that says the MIR is in the box.

Thanks, I missed that. And it was printed in normal size to boot. If it were a snake (preferably a pit viper)... it would have bitten me.

Maybe I’m going crazy (a distinct possibility). Nope, that’s not the case, I polled all the little voices inside my head and overwhelmingly they said I was NOT crazy or even going crazy.

I looked for the rebate link this morning and I swear it was not there. And I don’t swear very often because it's socially unacceptable. Okay, well maybe I do a little.

Maybe Outpost added BOTH the rebate link AND the note since this morning. Maybe I’m going blind? (No comments on that one please.) Hmmm… let me poll the little voices again.

The rebate link was not there -- I sent them an email earlier today and it showed up within the hour.

Also, its VERY interesting to note that earlier, the page just said $10 rebate. NOW, its says $10 "upgrade" rebate.

Hmmmm. Looks like someone made a mistake.
