the AD1500 is 49.99 regular priced at fry's, if you can find them that is, fry's seems to be very inconsistent with the stock on these

(Fry's) Outpost.com (http://shop2.outpost.com/product/3318032) has it for $49.99 this week as well. So it’s kind of a trade-off between sales tax and shipping costs. I wish the Outpost.com store always had the same prices as the Fry’s B&M stores. Better yet, I wish Fry’s Electronics would build B&M stores here in the east.

No you don't. Frys is a hell hole of a store. I'd rather pay $10 extra to someone else just so that i would NOT have to deal with them.

I went into a CC B&M (in Rockville, Maryland) last week, and picked up an Apex 1500 (with the display) for $49.99. The display model in the store was an Apex 1200, but all of the ones in boxes were 1500s. I asked a salesperson to scan one for me, and it rang up at $49.99. For some reason my receipt showed AD-1200 instead of AD-1500, so the doorman gave me some ****. I explained to him what happened, and after standing there for a minute or so, he let me go. :)

The 1500's dvd unit has an lcd display for the track number, time remaining, etc. The 1200 doesn't have one. It's sorta a pain without it.
