Like you said, I'd find a way to hide or match the two 3.5" drive bays.

Why dont you just use a black Sharpie or one of those paint pens at walmart craft section also works well. Besure to clean the front of the drive with achol first

What kind of interface are you going to use for all of it? Just the individual programs like Winamp and PowerDVD or is there a special interface that comes with the sound card/dvd/etc.? Are you just using an wireless mouse or a remote control?
Very sharp though.

$30 or so for a silent Zalman gpu/ram cooler and a little more for a cpu cooler by them. Those big 120 pabst or panaflos etc are better for silence ( and u kno dis mang!).
Zalmans + 120mm intake fan + 120mm exhaust fan = nearly silent HTPC.
Aren't you glad you didn't settle on a WEGA now?
CF -- Can you do your pricelist for this project? Thanks ^_^

More pics now!
And you better hope my raise doesnt come thru cuz competition is on the way. :P
btw, did you get it cooled properly and silently?

Throw in the matrix and show us what that looks like :)

Very nice, I like! They don't sell sinks that cover both chipset and the chip do they? I know Zalmann has a whole bunch of funky looking heatsinks that don't have fans but they're pretty hefty, I'm using a small one for my chipset right now though.

bad habits die hard ;)
I looked up a little about monovision but what's the general concept. High res widescreen TV? How deep does that baby reach back in dimensions?

Great thread CF, Thanks for the ride!
I want more projects like this - with pictures, trials/tribulations/what worked/what didn't.
Great job, thanks for doing this!
(I didn't realize how much I NEED an HTPC until just now...)
