View Full Version : lemonizer question
for those guys who are running lemonizer, how much webspace do you have available for uploads and such? do you delete files on a regular basis, or do they stay there forever? i read the upload.php page and it didn't mention anything about time limits etc. only maximum file size being 7mb.
i'm curious because I was thinking of setting something up that is similar. tia.

Why not just email sho.gun? It's his site. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to give you pointers.
oh, i didn't know it was his :) i'm sure he'll see this and reply when he gets back from camping...IF he gets back from camping. :o

*ahem*
Speaking of the uploader, it's back up for me now. I know there are some of you out there who still can't access it right now and some who are now able to do so. I'm guessing this is a DNS issue, but it's just a guess. I filed a trouble ticket to my hosting company so I'm just awaiting their take on this whole thing.
Now to answer the previous question:
lemonizer.com and the uploader is hosted by orphus.net who are currently going through a redesign. I have a total of 1.25 gb for my account, most of which is allocated to the uploader and a total of 25gb of bandwidth available. The bandwidth goes pretty fast, which is why I delete files that are over 2 mb on a regular basis. If I stumble across something that is really old and nobody uses it anymore, I'd delete that too. If you need something hosted for an indefinite amount of time, I'd be happy to give you some space separate from the uploader.
If you want to make something similar, you can just buy some hosting that supports PHP and I'd be happy to give you the uploader script (i didn't make it btw, just modified it) and you can have your own lil' uploader.
who is your hosting company shogun?
